Merchant requirements
Last updated: 08.04.2026
These Merchant Requirements define the conditions, standards, and rules that apply to all merchants applying to use or using Shopla Outlet.
Shopla Outlet is a curated platform. Merchant onboarding is selective and is not automatic. Meeting minimum technical, legal, or catalog requirements does not create any right to be accepted, onboarded, or remain active on the platform.
By applying as a merchant, onboarding as a merchant, or listing products on Shopla Outlet, you agree to comply with these Merchant Requirements in their current version.
Shoplà may review merchant accounts, products, content, and related business information at any time and may accept, reject, suspend, restrict, or terminate participation at its discretion in order to protect platform quality, trust, and compliance.
1. Scope and applicability
These Merchant Requirements apply to:
- all merchants applying to sell or list products on Shopla Outlet
- all merchants already onboarded to Shopla Outlet
- all product data, images, descriptions, variants, prices, and related content provided by merchants
- all merchant conduct related to the use of the Shopla Outlet platform
These Merchant Requirements apply in addition to the Terms of Service and any other applicable Shoplà policies.
2. Curated platform and selective onboarding
Shopla Outlet is intended for selected merchants whose business, brand presentation, catalog quality, and overall profile fit the positioning and standards of the platform.
Merchant onboarding is reviewed individually. Shoplà does not accept every applicant and may decline applications at its sole discretion, including where a merchant technically meets minimum requirements but does not fit the platform.
In particular, Shoplà may consider, among other things:
- merchant identity and transparency
- brand presentation and overall business credibility
- product quality and assortment quality
- product data quality and image quality
- compliance history and legal risk
- the overall fit of the merchant and catalog with the Shopla Outlet platform
Shoplà reserves the right to prioritize a curated, quality-focused merchant mix over merchant volume.
3. Merchant eligibility requirements
To be considered for onboarding and continued participation, a merchant must satisfy the following requirements on an ongoing basis.
3.1 Legal and business legitimacy
Merchants must:
- operate as a legally registered business
- provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date business information when requested
- hold all registrations, authorizations, and rights necessary for their business activities and products
- comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights related to their products, operations, marketing, and sales activities
Shoplà may request supporting documents at any time, including business registration details, identity information, proof of authorization, or other verification materials.
3.2 Clear merchant identity and transparency
Merchants must present a clearly identifiable business.
This includes, where applicable:
- a clear business or brand name
- a credible public-facing store or brand presence
- sufficient information to identify who is offering the products
- a level of transparency consistent with customer trust and platform quality
Merchants that appear anonymous, misleading, insufficiently identifiable, or low-transparency may be rejected or removed.
3.3 Business model and platform fit
Shopla Outlet is intended for identifiable retail merchants and branded shops whose assortment and presentation are suitable for a curated outlet environment.
Merchants may be rejected if, in Shoplà’s assessment, they primarily resemble any of the following:
- warehouse-only or non-retail operations
- anonymous stock-clearance sellers
- generic bulk sellers without clear merchant identity
- merchants whose assortment, presentation, or business model does not fit the quality or positioning of Shopla Outlet
Shoplà may also reject merchants whose products, store presentation, or overall profile could harm platform trust, merchant quality, or customer experience.
3.4 Catalog and content quality
Merchants must maintain product data, images, descriptions, and related content at a level that is accurate, complete, consistent, and suitable for publication on Shopla Outlet.
Merchants may be rejected, restricted, or removed if their catalog quality is materially insufficient, including where:
- product titles or descriptions are incomplete, misleading, or low quality
- product images are poor, inconsistent, misleading, or unusable
- variant data is incorrect or poorly structured
- pricing or product information appears unreliable
- the overall catalog presentation falls below the standards of the platform
3.5 Ongoing review
Acceptance onto Shopla Outlet is not permanent and may be reassessed at any time.
A merchant that was previously accepted may later be restricted, suspended, or removed if Shoplà determines that the merchant no longer meets the platform’s requirements, standards, or compliance expectations.

- any conduct that may expose Shoplà, customers, or other merchants to legal, reputational, or operational risk
6. Verification, review, and cooperation obligations
Merchants must cooperate with reasonable requests from Shoplà relating to onboarding, verification, compliance, product review, or platform quality.
Shoplà may request documents, clarifications, corrections, or supporting information before onboarding, during review, or after onboarding.
Failure to provide requested information within a reasonable period may result in rejection of the application, delayed onboarding, suspension of listings, or account termination.
7. Compliance, enforcement, and sanctions
If a merchant, product, or listing violates these Merchant Requirements, or if Shoplà determines that a merchant is no longer a suitable fit for the platform, Shoplà may, at its discretion and without obligation to provide prior notice:
- reject a merchant application
- refuse onboarding
- reject, unpublish, or remove products
- require correction of data, images, descriptions, or other content
- deactivate or restrict product listings
- suspend, restrict, or terminate merchant accounts
- take any additional action reasonably necessary to protect platform quality, trust, safety, or compliance
Shoplà’s decisions regarding merchant admission, platform fit, and enforcement are made at its discretion.
8. Updates to these Merchant Requirements
Shoplà may update these Merchant Requirements from time to time.
The current version is published on the Shoplà website and applies from the stated “Last updated” date.
